3. Brief Description:
Aparatube plugin allows WordPress site administrators to easily display videos hosted on platforms such as YouTube, Google Drive, and also personal videos uploaded on their own hosting.
4. Requirements:
Content Management System: WordPress version 5.0 or higher
Programming Language: PHP version 7.4 or higher
No special database needed (uses WordPress default database)
5. Installation Instructions:
Download the plugin ZIP file.
Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
Navigate to: Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Select the ZIP file and click Install Now.
After installation, click Activate Plugin.
A new menu named "Aparatube" will appear in the admin panel.
6. How to Use:
After installation, through the "Aparatube" menu you can:
Add video URLs from YouTube or Google Drive.
Select and display personal video files hosted on your server.
Use the plugin shortcode to embed videos within pages or posts.
Videos will be displayed responsively and playable on all browsers.
When editing a page or post with Elementor, users can utilize the Aparatube widget.
This widget allows selecting videos from predefined YouTube categories ("YouTube Category") for easy organized display.
The widget also supports videos from Google Drive and personal uploads.
7. Security Notes:
Validates video URLs before loading.
Prevents execution of malicious scripts via input filtering.
Supports disabling video display based on user roles (if needed).
